We’d like to offer a proud “Congratulations” to our Grade 6 Girl’s basketball team for their 2nd place finish at the district basketball tournament held at NPSS this past Wednesday.

After losing their first game, the Kodiaks were determined to win the next one. Much to their surprise, the girls proceeded to win the next 4 games back to back and found themselves facing Upper Pine in the Championship Game.

Holding their own, Duncan Cran left everything on the court but came up short against the Eagles from Upper Pine.

The girls proudly and excitedly received a blue ribbon for the 2nd place finish.
