Dear Parents and Guardians,

All students are invited to participate in a school reading challenge that begins February 13th and finishes March 15th!  Students are asked to read at least 10 minutes per day, four days per week at home.  Kindergarten students may have parents read to them.  Students will record their reading minutes on the Student Form and return these forms to classroom teachers every Friday mornings.  Our first school wide goal is to read 50,000 minutes, which will fill the Duncan Cran Kodiak and then read an additional 30,000 minutes to fill the bear’s honey pot.  When these challenges are met, classes will participate in a School Celebration after spring break.
