Girls A Volleyball- 3rd place at District Tournament

On Tuesday, the Girls A Volleyball team placed third at the year-tournament. We lost our first game to R.O in three sets. Because we had lost our first game, we had to keep winning to stay in the tournament but that didn’t deter the girls. We then played Clearview and won in 3 sets. Immediately after, the girls played Charlie Lake and won in 2 sets. Again, we had to play right after and we beat Bert Ambrose in 3 sets. In our fourth game in a row, we lost to Upper Pine in 2 sets.

The girls played SO well as a team. They were communicating to each other and showed that they wanted to be there. They never gave up even when we were down a set. They showed heart and determination all the way to the end even when they were exhausted. I couldn’t be more proud to coach such a great group of girls. Everyone on the team was in Grade 6 and so they will be definitely missed at Duncan Cran next year. – Ms. Dunn
