Today (December 2nd) there are 118 students absent from school.  PLEASE call in if your child is going to be away.  The secretary was on the phone for over 2 hours calling to make sure your child was safe at home!

Friday, November 29th, 2013 is a Non-Instructional day and therefore no school for students. It is a day set aside for parent/teacher interviews. Please call the school to book your appointment with your child’s teacher if you haven’t already done so!

RE:  Lockdown practices
Dear Parents,
I am writing to let you know that Duncan Cran Elementary School has been invited to work with School District administration to develop a procedure to practice what is known as a “Lockdown”.

Hi Parents:
The plan for Halloween (Thursday, October 31st) is as follows:
1) 1:00-1:30pm – Everyone in the gym for the Halloween costume parade
2) 1:30-2:00pm – Primary grades (K-3) will stay in gym for a dance,

Just to remind parents that tomorrow, Friday, October 25th is a Professional Development Day, and there is no school for students.

We will be having a garage sale at Duncan Cran elementary in the gym. It will be held this Saturday, October 19th, from 9am-3pm. Something for every one!!!!

Mr. Davies played along with the RCMP to raise money for the Cops for Cancer (Jail; and Bail). Mr Davies was later bailed and raised $450 for the RCMP for cancer. Way to go Mr.
